MARGOT'S · NORTHBRIDGE
Our Story
A neighbourhood brasserie, wine bar & cellar door championing WA producers.
"A 100-year-old Northbridge building reimagined as a place to drink well, eat simply, and stay a while."
Margot's was born from a shared belief that great wine, honest food, and warm hospitality shouldn't come at a premium. Opened in 2024 by architect Barry Baltinas, interior designer Rebecca Frost, and hospitality veteran Gary Beadle, the venue occupies a century-old building on William Street — stripped back, considered, and built to last.
The concept is straightforward: a European-style neighbourhood brasserie with a genuine cellar door at its heart. We stock predominantly small, family-owned Western Australian wineries and distilleries, chosen for their craft and character — not their label. Out front, a Pilbara red marble bar. Behind it, seven martinis made properly. Below it, oysters at $1.50 each most afternoons.
